Losing this time isn\u2019t a \u200cbad \u200cthing; at least there\u2019s room for improvement and a clear path forward,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Transgender female athletes are now excluded from women\u2019s events at the Olympics after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) agreed to a new eligibility policy that aligns with United States President Donald Trump\u2019s executive order on sports in advance of the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympics.<\/p>\n \u201cEligibility for any female category event at the Olympic Games or any other IOC event, including individual and team sports, is now limited to biological females,\u201d the IOC said last month, noting this is to be determined by a mandatory gene test once in an athlete\u2019s career.<\/p>\n<\/div>\nRecommended Stories <\/h2>\n
